Festival gates will be open on Thursday, the 18thof June from 12:00 PM. Parking for cars and caravans will open at 11:00 AM on the same day. The festival is open during the whole weekend until Sunday, the 21stof June at 12:00 PM.
Closer to the event we will also open day tickets, for those who cannot stay the whole time. The tickets are limited to small amount to keep this festival personal and intimate and also friendly to our land. So don`t wait too long.
Definitely! Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy the festival. Children age 7 and under are free, from ages 8-13 tickets are half-price and age 14 and over is full price.

The festival is set up with a cashless payment system. You will be given a card to top up at several stations. Like that you don’t have to be bothered with cash and also have a higher security.
Yes you have to bring a valid document to pass the border. Have in ind that the festival takes place just over the border in Hungary. To avoid any problems for entering Hungary you should have your passport on you.
Unfortunately there aren’t any refunds available for tickets.
There will be a few outlets available. Please note that we don’t provide WIFI so that we do not disturb the nature and to encourage you to enjoy the festival and the remoteness.
It is strictly forbidden to bring any knifes, kitchen tools, weapons or any glass on the festival site!!
Yes! There is a zero-tolerance policy for all drugs which will be controlled at the entrance the festival and throughout. Any misconduct will result in being asked to leave the festival immediately and police will be involved.
Since the festival is located on a wild, abandoned tree nursery in the middle of nature, navigating the coordinates located on the website under “location” is best. The physical address is Kistölgyfa puszta, 339 Kapuvár, Hungary. It is located just 10 minutes from Pamhagen right over the Austrian/Hungarian border.
There are multiple ways to arrive to the festival, but we do suggest ridesharing or public transportation as a more sustainable practice. You can arrive by train to Pamhagen station which offers direct service to Vienna. Alternatively, you can arrive by train to Kapuvár station which offers direct service to Budapest.
Yes, for those arriving at the Pamhagen train station (15 min drive to the festival) or at the Kapuvár train station (10 minute drive to the festival) there will be a shuttle service running in roughly 30-minute intervals throughout the entire weekend. More details will be posted later.
Yes, we do charge a fee of €15 for parking as we want to encourage more ride shares and public transportation. This can be purchased on the website or at the festival site once you arrive.
Yes! You can be dropped off near the parking zone.
Yes definitely! Camping in the beautiful nature on an abandoned tree nursery is included in your ticket price. The campsite is just a short walk from the parking lot.
Yes, you can choose to camp with a caravan instead of a tent. Please keep in mind that you will have to purchase a “caravan parking ticket” which will be available soon with more information.
Yes, we offer to tents to rent for the weekend. Tickets will be available soon. Each person must bring their own sleeping bag as we cannot offer that.
Sanitary facilities including showers, compostable toilets and drinking fountains will be available.
It is NOT permitted to light fires or barbeque at the Meinklang Festival
It is NOT permitted to bring any outside food or drinks inside the festival or to your campsite. You can bring an empty reusable water bottle to fill up. Free drinking water is accessible throughout the entire festival. There will be different bar areas serving organic beer and wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks. There will also be many different food vendors serving a variety of fresh organic food with vegetarian options.
